Heating Schemes

Heating grants offered by the government.

Under the UK Government’s domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme, you could receive heating grants like quarterly cash payments over seven years if you install or have already installed an eligible renewable heating technology. For more details, get in touch with Eco Friendly Installations Ltd in Aberdyfi.

Available funding incentives

The government has set up the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) that offer to pay considerable premiums on each kW hour that you generate from renewable sources.

The domestic premium rates are based on the kWhrs produced from a renewable source per year, as deemed from a green deal assessment, multiplied by the premium in the table below.

RHI Domestic Tariff (p/kWh renewable heat)

Air source heat pump

7.42 p/kWh

7.14 p/kWh

Ground source heat pump

19.1 p/kWh

Solar thermal

19.51 p/kWh

We are an MCS accredited company

This incentive will run for seven years, and should in itself pay back the cost of the installation in that time

We, as an MCS accredited company, are able to register all our renewable systems for these payments.

The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive is here!

The long wait for the Renewable Heat Incentive is now over. The Ofgem portal for registering applications is open for business along with clear instructions of what you will need to apply.

All the uncertainty that you, as a customer, have felt concerning funding towards renewable systems is over. If you have any questions about how the RHI relates to a system that you have in mind, please do not hesitate to contact us.
